Fee and rebates
Sessions are typically 50–60 minutes unless otherwise agreed & in-person or via telehealth.

Referrals & Rebates
You are welcome to book an appointment without a referral if you prefer to access sessions privately. This can offer flexibility and immediate support when you need it.
If you would like to access a Medicare rebate, you can visit your General Practitioner (GP) to discuss a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) under the Better Access initiative. With a valid referral, you may be eligible for a rebate of $98.95 per session. This typically provides access to up to 10 sessions per calendar year, starting with an initial 6 sessions, with the possibility of a further 4 sessions upon review with your GP.
If you have private health insurance, you may also be able to claim part of the session fee depending on your level of cover. It is recommended to check directly with your provider to understand your individual entitlements.
Medicare rebates don’t apply to couple sessions, but some private health insurance plans may contribute. We recommend checking with your provider to see what is available for you.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows the time to be offered to someone else who may be waiting for support.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or not attended, may incur the full session fee.
Payments
Payment is requested at the end of each session.
Outstanding balances must be settled before future appointments can proceed.
For sessions using a Medicare rebate, billing is in line with current Medicare requirements. Depending on your rebate and gap payment, an out-of-pocket cost may apply.
For NDIS-funded sessions, billing depends on your funding type:
Self-managed plans: clients pay upfront and can claim reimbursement.
Plan-managed funding: invoices are submitted directly to the plan manager at the end of the session.
